About Lisa
Lisa spent more than a decade developing sales, communication, time management and solution development skills in corporate America. Lisa served as Group Events Coordinator for Santa Anita Park where she was adept at coordinating various activities for a wide range of organizations. As an account executive for Monroe Systems for Business and A.B. Dick, Lisa was often called on to serve as a role model for new hires; she helped them get organized so they could be more effective. She has always enjoyed working closely with others and guiding them to their goals.
Lisa holds a B.S. degree in Administrative Recreation from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Lisa also minored in Business Administration at Cal Poly. Her academic background gave her an understanding of practical financial matters that helps her coordinate and design projects that fit her clients' needs.
Lisa also holds a certificate in Interior Design from the Interior Design Institute. Lisa's design training helps her create spaces for her clients that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing to them.
In her work as a professional organizer, Lisa loves the face-to-face interaction with clients, cultivating long-term relationships with them and working in partnership to develop the right solutions for specific challenges. Lisa is an active member of the National Association of Professional Organizers. She is also a member of the NAPO San Diego Chapter as well as the Orange County Organizers Network.
Lisa is very actively involved in community projects as well. Why? "I can't say no when there is a job to be done," she says. Lisa is currently Co-Chair of Programs of the Lido Isle Women's Club as well as Booster Chair of the Lido Isle Junior Yacht Club. She also contributes to the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation. She feels that as a member of a community, it is important to give back. She also sees her community work as a way to build relationships with others-and build her own character and capacity for compassion. And, too, she wants to teach her son, who has many privileges in his life, that there are others who are not so lucky.
